Born on February 23, 1939, in Marietta, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dwight and Dorothy (Stehle) Hays. Stephanie was the wife of the late Paul R. Smith, whom she married on July 3, 1959, in Marietta, Ohio. Stephanie found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Delaware, Ohio Mary Bean 1933 — 2024 Mary K. Bean passed away on March 25th with family by her side. She was born in Florida on March 5, 1933 to hardworking parents, Andrew and Edna Corley. She grew up in Mobile AL, one of nine children. In 1951 she married Bill Bean, who was in the Coast Guard and stationed in Mobile. She followed him to New Jersey and Connecticut and when he retired they moved their family to Ohio, where Bill was born. First and foremost, she was a devoted wife and mother whose life was lived in the service of her family. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
