Manchester, New Hampshire Stephanie Smith 1939 — 2024 Stephanie (Hays) Smith, 85, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Manchester, New Hampshire. Born on February 23, 1939, in Marietta, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dwight and Dorothy (Stehle) Hays. Stephanie was the wife of the late Paul R. Smith, whom she married on July 3, 1959, in Marietta, Ohio. Stephanie found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. In addition to her parents and husband, Stephanie was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Medley, and her brother-in-law David Smith. She is survived by her sisters Jocelyn Hays, Eleanor Tucker and her husband Thomas, and sister-in-law Susan Smith; and her... Delaware, Ohio Mary Bean 1933 — 2024 Mary K. Bean passed away on March 25th with family by her side. She was born in Florida on March 5, 1933 to hardworking parents, Andrew and Edna Corley. She grew up in Mobile AL, one of nine children. In 1951 she married Bill Bean, who was in the Coast Guard and stationed in Mobile. She followed him to New Jersey and Connecticut and when he retired they moved their family to Ohio, where Bill was born. First and foremost, she was a devoted wife and mother whose life was lived in the service of her family. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rapp was the daughter of the late, Robert Frank Norris and the late, Margaret Anne (Rhodes) Norris. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rapp is preceded in death by her husband, William Harry Rapp. Mrs. Rapp was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She began her career working in the Nursing field and would later go on to work for and retire from Haralson County Middle School. Karen worked and had a very successful career at the Department of Commerce as a Program Analyst. She was very ambitious and highly motivated to make her move from Southern Maryland to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Georgia "to get that retired life started".
